Our well-established periodontal and implant practice is seeking an experienced Surgical Dental Assistant to join our clinical team. This role is ideal for a confident, efficient assistant who thrives in a surgical environment, understands sterile protocol, and values precision and patient comfort.

Key Responsibilities
Chairside assisting for advanced periodontal and implant surgeries
Set up and maintain sterile surgical fields
Anticipate provider needs during procedures
Manage surgical instruments, sutures, implants, and grafting materials
Monitor patient comfort and assist with anxiety management
Take high-quality digital radiographs and intraoral images
Deliver clear pre- and post-operative instructions
Accurate clinical documentation and charting
Maintain OSHA/CDC infection control standards
Support smooth operatory flow and on-time surgical schedule

Required Experience & Skills
Minimum 2 years dental assisting experience
Surgical assisting experience strongly preferred (perio, implants, oral surgery)
Radiology certification required
Strong understanding of sterile technique and surgical protocols
Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced surgical setting
Excellent communication and teamwork skills
Professional, calm, and patient-focused demeanor
