ASIC Design Engineer, Cloud ML Acceleration

Salary: $136,000 - 184,000 per year Requirements:

• We require a bachelors degree or an equivalent qualification.
• We require 3+ years of non-internship experience in designing or architecting new and existing systems, including design patterns, reliability, and scaling.
• A masters degree in computer science or an equivalent field is preferred.
• 3+ years of experience across the full software development lifecycle is preferred, including coding standards, code reviews, source control management, build processes, testing, and operations.
• We are looking for strong ASIC design knowledge, proficiency in SystemVerilog, and solid analytical and problem-solving ability.
• Experience with high-performance, power-efficient designs is highly desirable.
• We value a learning mindset, familiarity with interconnects, DMAs, memory subsystems, accelerator engines, debug, and system-level architectures, and a drive to innovate and contribute patents.

• We design and implement high-performance RTL that is efficient in area and power while meeting project specifications.
• We analyze designs, microarchitectures, and architectures to balance features, power, performance, and area.
• We create microarchitectures, write SystemVerilog RTL, and deliver synthesis-ready, timing-clean designs with suitable constraints.
• We run lint and clock-domain-crossing checks to protect design integrity.
• We work closely with architects, designers, verification partners, pre- and post-silicon validation teams, and synthesis, timing, and back-end specialists.
