Sales Support Specialist

Position Overview

Ultimate Staffing is actively seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Sales Support Specialist to join a dynamic team in the Hanover, MD area. This full-time role is perfect for individuals who thrive in fast-paced environments, excel at managing multiple tasks simultaneously, and possess strong communication skills via phone and email. The Sales Support Specialist will play a key role in supporting the sales team by handling pricing requests, entering data, coordinating with vendors, and ensuring timely order processing. A critical ability to decipher vendor information, verify accuracy, address discrepancies, and apply problem-solving skills to meet deadlines is essential.

Responsibilities

• Respond to customer and internal team inquiries in a timely and professional manner.
• Obtain and maintain vendor pricing information.
• Check product availability and provide lead times to customers and sales staff.
• Create and process purchase orders accurately.
• Review vendor information and resolve any errors or discrepancies.
• Communicate with vendors to gather missing or corrected information.
• Identify and solve issues related to pricing, inventory, and orders.
• Meet deadlines and manage tasks efficiently.
• Build positive relationships with vendors and internal teams.
• Provide general administrative support to the sales team.

Qualifications

• Able to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple tasks.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office; CRM/ERP experience is a plus.
• Highly organized and detail-oriented.
• Experience in sales support, inside sales, or customer service is preferred but not required.

Schedule

Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM

Pay

Starting at $20/hour based on experience
