Shape scalable processes and mitigate operational risks effectively.Job DescriptionHedge Fund Operations Manager OverviewThe Hedge Fund Operations Manager will oversee and enhance operational processes within a dynamic multi-strategy investment firm.Collaborate with internal teams and external service providers to ensure seamless operational workflows and infrastructure scalability.Play a key role in supporting trade lifecycle operations across diverse strategies and asset classes.Contribute strategically while remaining hands-on in day-to-day operational tasks and initiatives.Identify and implement process improvements to drive automation and operational efficiencies.Ensure compliance with internal policies and external regulatory requirements while mitigating operational risks.Join a collaborative environment that values autonomy, intelligence, and integrity.Support the firm’s growth by establishing best practices and scalable operational frameworks.Hedge Fund Operations Manager Key Responsibilities & DutiesOversee month-end close activities, fund administrator oversight, and reconciliations to ensure accurate processing.Manage cash and position reconciliations while maintaining robust operational controls.Collaborate with prime brokers, counterparties, auditors, and internal teams to optimize operational workflows.Support trade lifecycle operations across multiple strategies and asset classes.Identify opportunities for process improvements and drive automation initiatives.Work closely with Middle Office, Finance, Treasury, Compliance, Technology, Risk, and Investment teams.Monitor operational risks and ensure adherence to regulatory requirements.Contribute to the establishment of best practices and documentation frameworks.Provide strategic insights while actively participating in execution-oriented tasks.Hedge Fund Operations Manager Job RequirementsBachelor’s degree required, preferably in finance, economics, or a related field.Minimum of 5 years of hedge fund operations experience, with a preference for 10 years.Strong knowledge of hedge fund operational workflows, reconciliations, and month-end processes.Experience managing cash reconciliations and operational controls across multiple accounts and entities.Proven ability to operate effectively in fast-paced, high-accountability environments.Hands-on mentality with a willingness to execute tactically while contributing strategically.Excellent organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills.Strong communication and stakeholder management abilities.Experience scaling or building operational processes within growing organizations is highly preferred.
