This is a hands-on role focused on MIG welding, fabrication support, and shop operations. If you enjoy working with steel, reading blueprints, and building quality products, we'd love to hear from you.

• Perform MIG welding on mild steel and stainless steel materials ranging from 7 gauge to 1/4 inch
• Read and interpret blueprints, weld symbols, and weld callouts
• Complete production welding assignments while maintaining quality standards
• Grind, deburr, and finish welded components
• Cut, prepare, organize, and stage materials for fabrication projects
• Operate grinders, cutting tools, and fabrication equipment
• Use tape measures and shop math to verify dimensions and fit-up
• Assist with fabrication and shop support tasks as needed
• Maintain a safe, clean, and organized workspace
• Follow all company quality and safety procedures

• At least 1 year of MIG welding experience or a welding-related degree
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints and welding symbols
• Experience welding mild steel and/or stainless steel
• Strong measuring skills with the ability to use tape measures accurately
• Ability to perform grinding, cutting, and finishing operations
• Stable work history and strong attendance record
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team

The shop is currently experiencing significant growth and is expanding into a new facility designed specifically for welding and fabrication operations. The environment is team-oriented, hands-on, and focused on quality craftsmanship. Employees are encouraged to develop new skills through cross-training and have opportunities for long-term advancement within the organization.

This is a Permanent position based out of Burnsville, MN.

The pay range for this position is $23.00 - $33.00/hr.

Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
