Commercial Lines Insurance Sales Consultant

We are seeking a dynamic insurance sales professional to join our Affinity team at Marsh as a Commercial Lines Insurance Sales Consultant. This hybrid role requires working in the office at least three days a week and offers a high-impact opportunity to engage with franchise owners within Marsh’s national-name accounts and drive business growth. In this role you will develop leads, schedule appointments, identify customer needs and deliver tailored, value‑driven insurance solutions. Your ability to build trusted relationships, influence decision‑makers and acquire new business across multiple franchise owners will be critical. Responsibilities Develop and manage a prospect list, prioritizing lead and contact cycles with a strategic, data‑driven sales approach. Maintain a sales funnel and move prospects close, ensuring consistent pipeline growth and conversion excellence. Build strong internal relationships with other sales professionals to share best practices, collaborate and drive collective success in engaging franchise owners. Demonstrate a growth mindset by continuously learning and adapting to evolving sales techniques, new insurance products and dynamic market conditions. Required Qualifications 2–3 years of experience in commercial insurance. Active Property & Casualty license. A consultative sales approach focusing on solution‑based selling and client‑centric engagement. Preferred Qualifications Experience in commercial or small‑business insurance sales with a track record of building and expanding client portfolios. Knowledge of sales experience focused on small business and/or franchise clients, able to navigate complex stakeholder environments. An unstoppable drive for success, resilience and a passion for exceeding expectations. Proven history of meeting and/or exceeding sales goals and targets. Benefits and Compensation Competitive base salary range of $85,900 to $137,200, determined by experience, skills, location, certifications and education.
