Job Description Job Description The Managing Attorney – Plaintiff Personal Injury position is a leadership role at a busy plaintiff-side personal injury litigation firm located in downtown Manhattan. This fully in‑office role involves managing a large legal team and a high-volume caseload in a fast-paced environment. The ideal candidate is an experienced litigator who can balance hands‑on casework with supervising and mentoring staff while ensuring top‑quality legal representation and client service. Responsibilities Manage and litigate a high-volume caseload of plaintiff personal injury cases from intake to resolution Supervise and mentor a large legal team of attorneys, paralegals, and support staff Oversee case strategy including pleadings, motions, discovery, depositions, and trial preparation Conduct court appearances, conferences, and trials as necessary Ensure compliance with New York court rules, deadlines, and firm policies Evaluate cases for settlement and negotiate with opposing counsel and insurance carriers Collaborate with firm leadership on workflow, staffing, and case performance management Maintain strong client relationships and provide regular updates on case progress Required Qualifications Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school Active admission to the New York State Bar Qualifications 10+ years of plaintiff-side personal injury litigation experience Proven ability to manage a high-volume caseload independently Prior supervisory or management experience Strong trial preparation and litigation skills Exceptional leadership and client management abilities #J-18808-Ljbffr
