Sr Scientist, Inflammation Biomarkers and Translational Research

Responsibilities
- Lead end-to-end biomarker strategy for clinical programs from translational research through Phase I-III registrational studies
- Define and implement pharmacodynamic, MOA, prognostic, predictive biomarkers including assay qualification and vendor management
- Serve as biomarker lead for cross-functional teams, providing scientific direction and risk assessment
- Design and oversee human-relevant translational studies using primary samples and conduct responder analyses
- Integrate multi-omic and clinical datasets to generate insights and inform program decisions
Requirements
- PhD or MD/PhD in Immunology, Inflammation Biology, Translational Medicine, or related field
- 5–8+ years post-doctoral and industry experience with biomarker strategy leadership
- Strong publication and/or patent record in scientific research
- Deep expertise in human immunology, inflammation, and fibrotic disease biology
- Proven experience designing and implementing clinical biomarker strategies with assay validation
- Effective communicator able to influence cross-functional teams and contribute to regulatory documents
- Proactive problem-solver with hands-on and strategic perspective
Compensation: $169,320–$219,120 base
