Ap Bookkeeper (Temporary)

The AP Bookkeeper (Temporary) is responsible for supporting the Accounts Payable function by ensuring invoices, payments, and vendor records are processed accurately and efficiently. This role requires strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and the ability to work collaboratively with vendors, purchasing teams, and property management staff.

Duties and Responsibilities

Reconcile accounts payable ledgers with vendor statements to ensure all invoices and payments are processed accurately and in a timely manner.

Process invoices received electronically and by mail in accordance with established financial policies and procedures.

Verify, classify, and record invoices in the Yardi accounting system.

Process outgoing payments while maintaining compliance with financial procedures and deadlines.

Communicate with vendors, purchasing departments, and property management teams regarding invoice and payment inquiries.

Maintain organized financial records and assist with improving operational workflows and processes.

Qualifications

12 years of prior accounts payable experience strongly preferred.

Knowledge of Yardi accounting software preferred.

High School Diploma or HSE required; Bachelor's degree preferred.

Bilingual English/Spanish strongly preferred.

Skills and Competencies

Strong interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills.

Ability to meet deadlines, organize data and files, and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.

Detail-oriented with excellent organizational skills.

Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
