Job Description
Registered Nurse (RN) - Inpatient Addiction Rehab Unit

Assignment Duration

This is a 13-week contract position.

Schedule

Shifts are from 3:00 PM to 11:30 PM, consisting of 5-8 hour shifts. Holidays and every other weekend are expected. Scheduled weekends off require prior coverage arrangements unless specified in the regular day off (RDO) agreement.

Job Description

The Registered Nurse will be trained to take on charge nurse responsibilities and may float to similar units within the hospital as needed.

Responsibilities

• Provide patient care and support for individuals in the Inpatient Addiction Rehab Unit.
• Administer medications and treatments per physician orders.
• Document patient care activities and communicate effectively with team members.
• Assist in patient assessments and contribute to care planning.
• Ensure compliance with hospital policies and guidelines.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Valid state nursing license (RN).
• Current CPR certification.
• Completion of health screenings and immunizations as specified.
• Experience in addiction rehabilitation preferred.
