Registered Nurse (RN) Part Time Days

What you’ll do Prepare, administer, and document medications, tests, treatments, and IV lines Record time spent performing individual treatments in accordance with ancillary services policy on the medication/treatment record Ensure proper storage and security of drugs and biologicals in accordance with facility policies and procedures Notify the physician of refusal of medication/treatments, non-compliance with a treatment plan, and resident response to medication regime with prompt notification to the physician of any adverse reactions Keep medication cart, refrigerator, and room neat, clean, and medication stored properly Assist in the orientation and training of new nursing personnel, as required Practice, implement, and supervise infection control, universal precautions, and safety policies and procedures What we offer Competitive hourly pay based on experience 401(k) with company match Medical, dental, vision, and life insurance options Generous paid time off (PTO) Up to $500 per month in nursing school tuition reimbursement What we’re looking for Current active license as a Registered Nurse in the state of employment Must be able to read, analyze, and interpret common scientific and technical information in the English language Full range of body motion including handling and lifting patients Ability to stand for long periods of time as well as lift/push/pull 50 lbs Must be able to see and hear or use prosthetics that will enable these senses to function adequately to ensure that the requirements of this position can be fully met Experience in long-term geriatric nursing care preferred Why us Our Registered Nurse care for a geriatric population that depends on consistent, knowledgeable, and compassionate care.
