Job Summary

We are seeking a Labor Relations Manager for a contract opportunity in Universal City, CA. This role is ideal for a labor relations professional who is experienced in union contract administration, grievance handling, employee discipline, and labor-management relations.

The Labor Relations Manager will serve as a trusted advisor to internal management and Human Resources teams, helping ensure union contract compliance and supporting sensitive employee relations matters with professionalism and discretion. This position offers the opportunity to work in a collaborative, fast-paced environment with strong cross-functional partnership among HR, Legal, and business leaders. Key Responsibilities

- Advise management and Human Resources teams on union contract compliance for assigned bargaining units and labor relations topics.
- Provide guidance on union employee discipline, including just-cause standards, workplace investigations, and union representation rights.
- Manage union grievances through the arbitration phase as assigned, including research, documentation, and coordination with key stakeholders.
- Serve as an initial point of contact for union inquiries and concerns, including triaging issues, preparing responses, and facilitating labor-management meetings.
- Support union contract administration, collective bargaining preparation, contract implementation, and related drafting assignments.
- Provide labor relations training to HR partners and managers on assigned topics and best practices.

Compensation and Benefits

- Compensation: $40 per hour.
- Job Type: Contract/Temporary.
- Location: Universal City, CA.
- Work Schedule: Hybrid schedule with a minimum of 4 days per week onsite.
