As Principal Product Manager for Subscriptions and Growth, you will own the long-term strategy and roadmap for subscriptions: what subscribers get, why they join, why they stay, and how the subscription business compounds over time. You will work across nearly every team at Roblox, and directly with our developer community, to build benefits that only a subscription can deliver. This is a player-coach role for a product leader who wants scope and influence, and who is energized by owning a business outcome end to end.This role is based in San Mateo, CA (no remote option) and reports to the Sr. Director Product, Monetization and Payments.You will:Own the long-term strategy and roadmap for Roblox subscriptions, including the subscriber value proposition, tiering, pricing, and the multi-year vision for where the product goes next.Drive acquisition and retention as a business owner : grow the subscriber base, improve conversion through the funnel, reduce churn, and expand internationally.Define and ship new subscriber benefits that meaningfully upgrade the experience, partnering with teams across the company to bring their surfaces and features into the subscription.Work directly with developers and creators to build developer-led subscription offerings, making it compelling for them to create value that is exclusive to or enhanced for subscribers.Build and run a rigorous growth experimentation program and hold the bar on statistical and decision-making quality.Own the metrics and business impact of subscriptions, from subscriber penetration and retention cohorts through to bookings, and communicate that story to executive leadership.Set the product standard for the broader team, mentoring other PMs and raising the quality of strategy, writing, and execution across the group.You have:5+ years of product management experience, with deep expertise in consumer subscription and growth products.Experience operating at principal or staff level: setting direction for a large, cross-company initiative and driving it through teams you do not own.Deep growth experimentation expertise, including A/B testing methodology, funnel analysis, cohort and lifecycle measurement, and knowing the limits of what a test can tell you.A technical approach: delving into product, platform, and implementation details, and the ability to engage engineering on scalable, extensible solutions.A data-driven approach: proficiency identifying, defining, tracking, and acting upon metrics, and working with engineering and analytics on instrumentation and monitoring.Exceptional written and verbal communication: the ability to convey strategy, priorities, and tradeoffs at the 30,000-foot level as well as produce clear, detailed product specifications.Experience with marketplace, platform, or creator-economy products, or with subscriptions in a two-sided ecosystem.A Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in a technical, business, or related field.You are:An entrepreneurial product leader who proposes high-reaching ideas and puts them into action.Persuasive across organizational lines. The actual base pay is dependent upon a variety of job-related factors such as professional background, training, work experience, location, business needs and market demand. Therefore, in some circumstances, the actual salary could fall outside of this expected range. This pay range is subject to change and may be modified in the future.
