Shift: Night, 12-hour shifts (7:00 PM 7:30 AM)

Hours/Week: 36 hours/week

Employment Type: Contract, 13+ weeks

License/Certs: ARRT R, BLS required

Experience: Minimum 2 years in acute care environments, community hospital experience preferred

What You'll Do

• Perform diagnostic X-ray procedures including abdomen, chest, head, extremities, and spine using GE OEC C-Arm and CareStream portable equipment
• Assist with fluoroscopy studies such as Barium swallow, contrast enema, and upper GI series
• Support mobile/surgical procedures including C-Arm, portable abdomen, and portable chest exams
• Ensure high-quality imaging while maintaining patient safety and comfort
• Prepare and administer contrast media in accordance with protocol
• Collaborate with radiology team for patient care in a busy acute care setting
• Document procedures accurately using PACS and EPIC systems

What You Need

Required:

• ARRT Registered Technologist (R) license
• BLS certification
• Minimum 2 years of experience in acute care radiology
• Experience with community hospital procedures and equipment
• Ability to perform adult and pediatric imaging (neonates to geriatrics)
• Flexibility to start on short notice and work weekend shifts

Preferred:

• Experience with PICU and specialized imaging procedures
• Additional certifications in advanced radiologic techniques

About the Assignment This assignment is at a full-service hospital in Charlotte, NC, performing 50-70 procedures daily, including diagnostic XR, fluoroscopy, and specialized testing such as Lumbar punctures and PICC line imaging. The radiology department operates a state-of-the-art facility with Siemens XR/FL, Samsung XR, and CareStream portable equipment. You'll join a dedicated team committed to providing exceptional patient care, with up to 2 weeks of orientation to ensure your success.
