Position Type: Part Time Pay Rate: $19.45 / Hour Job Schedule: Day/Time Tue 03:00 PM - 11:00 PM Wed 03:00 PM - 11:00 PM Sun 12:30 PM - 08:30 PM What You’ll Do: Provide customer service to visitors, staff, and members of the public by carrying out screening procedures, site‑specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a government location. Screen people, bags, and personal items for prohibited items in accordance with site procedures, and report concerns or irregularities to appropriate personnel. Monitor entrances and access points, verify authorization for entry, and help to deter unauthorized access through consistent screening and observation practices. Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem‑solving manner, documenting relevant details and communicating with site contacts and/or first responders as needed. Conduct regular and random patrols around the location and perimeter as assigned, noting unusual activity and supporting security‑related operations in changing environmental conditions. Minimum Requirements: A valid driver’s license is required in the state where the job is located. Possess 3+ years of combined law enforcement, military, corrections, or a college degree. Client requires proof of high school diploma or GED. Be at least 21 years of age. A guard card is required. Possess a high school diploma or equivalent. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
