Job Description As a Security Officer Medical Healthcare Patrol in West Palm Beach, FL , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Healthcare, and more. Position Type: Full Time Pay Rate: $17.91 / Hour Job Schedule: Day Time: Mon 12:00 AM - 08:00 AM Tue 12:00 AM - 08:00 AM Fri 12:00 AM - 08:00 AM Sat 12:00 AM - 08:00 AM Sun 12:00 AM - 08:00 AM What You’ll Do: Provide customer service to patients, visitors, and staff by carrying out security‑related procedures, site‑specific policies, and/or emergency response activities appropriate to a healthcare location. Respond to incidents, disturbances, and critical situations in a calm, problem‑solving manner, including assisting with de‑escalation and reporting security‑related concerns to the appropriate personnel. Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the facility, entrances, parking areas, and perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and observe unusual conditions. Monitor access points and visitor activity, help to enforce location rules, and document incidents, observations, and/or requested assistance in accordance with site procedures. Support day‑to‑day operations at the location by communicating with staff and/or emergency services when needed and helping with orderly responses to medical, behavioral, and facility‑related situations. Minimum Requirements: Be at least 21 years of age. Proof of a high school diploma or GED is required. Hospital site requirements include required vaccinations. Must be able to restrain individuals. A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements. Possess a high school diploma or equivalent. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
