In this driving post, you will conduct routine patrols, stay visible to help discourage incidents, and provide outstanding customer service and communication. Position Type: Part Time Pay Rate: $18.00 / Hour Job Schedule: DayTimeWed12:00 PM - 08:00 PMThur07:00 AM - 03:00 PM What You'll Do: Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and/or vendors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a technology, media, or telecommunications location. Respond to incidents, alarms, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observed conditions and reporting security-related concerns to site contacts and Allied Universal leadership. Conduct regular and random patrols throughout buildings, parking areas, and perimeter locations to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify unusual conditions. Monitor access points, verify credentials when required, and assist with visitor entry procedures while following site protocols and escalation guidelines. Support daily operations by communicating clearly with site personnel, maintaining accurate activity logs, and assisting with security-related requests as directed. Minimum Requirements: A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements. Access control and badge experience is preferred. Customer service experience is preferred. Guard card is required. CPR certification is preferred. A state, county, or city issued security license is preferred. Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles. Possess a high school diploma or equivalent. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws. Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
