Supply Chain Finance is a critical solution within the Structured Trade solution suite and is an attractive solution for clients looking to optimize working capital, support their relationships with critical suppliers and mitigate risk. Within GTS in the United States, new Supply Chain opportunities are originated by Sales, and existing programs are managed by Program Managers, with Supplier Engagement Managers playing a critical role in supporting growth of existing relationships.The role of a Supplier Engagement is to proactively drive the identification and timely onboarding of new suppliers to existing Supply Chain Finance programs for GTS’ major clients. By increasing the volume of suppliers using the program, GTS deepens its support and relationship with the buyer, increases facility utilization which supports revenue generation, balance growth and increased profitability from the program deployed. As our Assistant Vice President, Supplier Engagement Support Manager, you will:Responsible for growing existing Supply Chain programs by identifying and onboarding new counterparties to the programResponsible for preparing supplier outreach material to ensure suppliers recognize the benefits associated with the program of finance put in place by the buyerResponsible for relevant supplier engagement and onboarding as per the growth strategy for each Supply Chain program in scopeMonitor a range of data points to help define supplier demand and support program capacity Provide operational analysis, data analysis, presentation and general support to Sector Head and Management, as requiredSupport clients and internal stakeholders with appropriate materials where necessaryEnsure that deadlines are set and agreed with clients and internal stakeholders are metCollaborate with Implementation and appropriate internal stakeholders to support timely onboarding of suppliersActs as a role model for our Group Values and behaviors (Open, Connected, Dependable), supporting colleagues and customers to deliver superior customer service through these valuesYoull likely have the following qualifications to succeed in this role:Experience of working in a relevant busy and challenging environment, and driving customer excellenceMulti-tasking and completer/finisherExcellent planning and organizational skills with experience of working under pressureExcellent interpersonal, written and verbal communication skillsAbility to prioritize workload effectivelyExperience in or working with client experience, communications and Project management would be beneficialNumerical capability - using Excel and similar tools Strong attention to detail and presentation preparationDegree or higher education and very strong understanding of bank and departmental procedures, functions and activities (desirable) As an HSBC employee, you will have access to tailored professional development opportunities to ensure you have the right skills for today and tomorrow.
