Medical Laboratory Tech | Dearborn, Michigan

A 13-week contract opportunity is available for experienced Medical Technologists or Medical Lab Technicians in Dearborn, MI. This role provides the chance to apply specialized skills in a dynamic clinical laboratory environment supporting critical patient care processes.


Key Responsibilities:

• Perform select laboratory procedures on blood and other body fluids or specimens, following established protocols.
• Utilize manual techniques and operate laboratory instruments, including Beckman Coulter equipment; AU system experience is preferred.
• Work with laboratory information systems to ensure accurate data management; candidates with Sunquest LIS experience are highly desirable.
• Assist with phlebotomy duties as needed.
• Collaborate under supervision from laboratory technologists, leaders, or supervisors to maintain quality standards.

Qualifications and Desired Experience:

• Completion of an Associate Degree in Medical Laboratory Technology or Laboratory Science.
• Certification from a nationally recognized agency such as ASCP or NCA.
• Minimum of 2-3 years of experience in a similar role.
• Proficiency with Beckman Coulter equipment, with preferred AU system knowledge.
• Experience with Sunquest LIS and laboratory automation preferred.
