IT-Sr Capability Manager(acumen) - Remote

Overview:

What is the specific title of the position? Sr Capability Manager

Work location? Telecommute

Work hours (ex. 9am-5pm day/night shifts rotating shifts etc)? Depending on timezone

Will be working on the build of a system to support Home and Community users to work with members in care management programs

Please describe the team the candidate will be working with - how many members? Team of 20, All Capability Managers driving requirements, project management and go lives with our tech partners

What is the break-down of the team?s skill sets (ex: 1 PM 4 Developers etc.)? All are capability managers sitting on the business side.

What does the ideal candidate background look like (ex: healthcare specific background specific industry experience etc.)? Healthcare background, clinical is a plus, software launches and writing requirements

Job Description

Key responsibilities of this role include developing and implementing all operational business requirements, including technology needs, to ensure optimal operational design.

Aligns business and/or product strategy, effective design and development, and ongoing management of the portfolio across the full lifecycle to ensure business-specific or cross-enterprise impact.

Positions in this function are accountable for delivering sustainable, financially sound solutions that solve a specific problem and enable successful external product delivery and/or internal business function performance, while driving adoption with internal business clients and define future capability direction that supports business strategy and new opportunities.

Positions in this function play a critical role in ability to deliver products to market and/or manage internal business functions. Represent and cascade the vision and current scope definition to working teams. Support the prioritization of capabilities based on vision and scope. Lead generation of product design and experience requirements for capabilities.

Required:

- Undergraduate degree or equivalent experience

- 5+ years of experience with healthcare, managed care and/or health insurance data analysis, business operations, or application development

- Cross-functional leadership and the ability to take initiative

- Strong critical thinking, analytical and problem-solving abilities, including the ability to analyze, monitor, and create solutions using data.

- Excellent prioritization, organization, communication, and time management skills

- Experience and ability to influence and drive performance both in a direct and matrixed environment

- Proficient EQ expertise with the ability to facilitate a cross functional team through process discussion and impact analysis

- Able to set priorities and demonstrate sound judgment in handling complex situations.

- Experience in developing program artifacts, including use cases, project plans, executive summaries, staffing analysis, financial assessments, etc.

- Excellent presentation skills, with the ability to simplify and communicate complex data to executive teams, including leaders at the C-Suite level.
