Investment Banking Vice President - Healthcare M&A (New York)

Blacklock is supporting a leading investment banking platform in the appointment of a Vice President to join its Healthcare M&A team. This is a senior execution and client-facing role within a well-established, high-growth healthcare franchise, offering strong deal exposure and a clear pathway for progression.

Location:

New York or Chicago

Responsibilities include:

• Leading execution of sell-side and buy-side M&A transactions
• Acting as a primary day-to-day client contact on live mandates
• Managing transaction processes, financial analysis, and valuation work
• Overseeing and developing junior team members
• Supporting origination efforts, pitches, and sector coverage initiatives

Candidate Profile

• 5-8 years of investment banking experience, with a strong Healthcare M&A focus
• Demonstrable track record of closed transactions (sell-side and/or buy-side)
• Strong financial modelling, valuation, and process management skills
• Confident communicator with experience advising senior clients
• Currently operating at VP level, or a high-performing Associate ready to step up
