Our physicians are nationally known, and we continue to be on the leading edge of retina care by utilizing the latest equipment and both participating in and designing new clinical trials to advance the state of care for retinal diseases. We are looking for a full time Accounting Assistant with 2-years experience to join our team at the Business Office in Sacramento, California.

Responsibilities

• Review coding for credit card purchases and upload into NetSuite
• Review coding and attachments in NetSuite for AP per policy. Process payments and prepare for physician signature.
• Prepare High-Cost Drug payment requests
• Process bank reconciliations in NetSuite
• Track vendor contracts to ensure all information is up to date - create and maintain Standing Purchase Order Document
• Prepare and process bank deposits
• Determine that all bank deposits and credit card receipts are received from clinics
• Reconcile credit card payments with merchant processor
• Filing AP and other documentation
• Resolve various accounting issues
• Prepare and maintain various spreadsheets using excel
• Other projects as assigned

Requirements

• 2 years prior accounting and/or bookkeeping experience
• Strong math and reconciliation skills
• Intermediate Excel user
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Attention to detail

Physical Requirements:

• Sitting and viewing computer screen for extended periods, up to 85% of the time
• Keyboarding, up to 90% of the time
• Standing, up to 25% of the time
• Lifting, reaching, and bending, up to 45% of the time
• Close visual acuity required to perform duties such as viewing computer monitor, and determining accuracy and thoroughness of work
