About the Role

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct diverse ultrasound studies, covering areas such as abdominal, obstetric, gynecological, vascular, and small parts imaging
• Prioritize patient comfort and safety, articulating each procedure with clarity and empathy
• Work closely with radiologists and referring physicians to produce outstanding diagnostic images
• Handle and maintain imaging equipment, promptly reporting any issues
• Ensure thorough documentation of procedures and maintenance of patient records in the electronic medical records system
• Keep abreast of the latest advancements in ultrasound imaging techniques and the standards of practice

Educational Qualifications

• An Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Diagnostic Medical Sonography or a related domain
• Completion of a CAAHEP-accredited Sonography program is strongly preferred

Certification Requirements

• Active certification from the American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography (ARDMS) or equivalent
• BLS (Basic Life Support) certification is preferred

Necessary Skills
