ASL Interpreter (RID or Texas BEI Certified) – Legal Interview | Austin, TX | $120/Hour BridgeVoice Interpreters is seeking a qualified American Sign Language (ASL) Interpreter for an onsite legal interview in Austin, Texas . This is a short-term contract opportunity for a professional interpreter with experience in legal interpreting. Location: Austin, TX Compensation: $120.00 per hour Responsibilities Provide accurate, complete, and impartial ASL interpretation during a legal interview. Facilitate clear communication between all parties while maintaining strict confidentiality. Adhere to professional standards and ethical guidelines throughout the assignment. Arrive on time and prepared for the scheduled appointment. Qualifications Current RID certification or Texas BEI Advanced, Master, or Court certification required. Previous legal interpreting experience preferred. Ability to interpret accurately and maintain confidentiality during legal proceedings. Excellent receptive and expressive ASL and English communication skills. Professional appearance and demeanor. Reliable transportation to the assignment location in Austin, TX. Authorized to work in the United States. $120.00 per hour Two-hour minimum guarantee Opportunity for future legal, healthcare, educational, and community interpreting assignments throughout Texas.
