Quick Facts Location: 1510 North 28th Street, Richmond, VA 23223 Start Date: 04/28/2026 End Date/Duration: 08/31/2026 Shift: Office hours 8:00 AM – 4:00 PM; Call hours 24/7 (weekday – included in schedule) Hours/Week: 40 Employment Type: Locum to Perm License/Certifications: Virginia medical license, Board Certified/Board Eligible in OB/GYN Experience: Prior OB/GYN experience required Pay & Benefits Pay Package: $19.50/hour, paid weekly via direct deposit Benefits: Comprehensive medical benefits (W-2) Paid sick time in accordance with applicable laws Licensure, certification, travel, and other reimbursements when applicable Robust referral bonus program 24/7 dedicated support team to assist throughout your assignment What You’ll Do Provide comprehensive OB/GYN care including routine low-risk pregnancies and some high-risk cases Perform obstetric ultrasounds (Level I and screening) and fetal monitoring (NSTs, CSTs, FSE) Manage labor and delivery, including vaginal births, C-sections, and complicated deliveries (breech, multiple gestation) Perform gynecological procedures such as IUD insertions, colposcopy, LEEP, cystoscopy, and minor surgeries Collaborate with a team of doctors, midwives, and support staff Document patient care accurately using the Epic EMR system Participate in on-call rotations and handle emergent obstetric cases What You Need Required: Virginia medical license or ability to obtain one MD or DO degree with OB/GYN specialty certification or eligibility At least 2 years of OB/GYN clinical experience Current BLS certification Preferred: Experience with obstetric ultrasounds and high-volume practice Comfortable with outpatient and inpatient settings, including labor & delivery Excellent communication and team collaboration skills About the Assignment Join a thriving OB/GYN practice in Richmond, VA, with a team dedicated to providing exceptional women's health care.
