Qualifications:

• High School Diploma, GED, or trade school diploma with 2-4 years of job-related experience. In lieu of a diploma, a combination of experience and education will be considered.
• Physical requirements include stooping, standing, walking, climbing stairs/ladders, and the ability to lift/carry heavy loads of 50 lbs. or more.
• Ability to develop skills to perform basic activities in own job.
• Demonstrated ability to effectively communicate.
• Familiarity with Microsoft Office products. Examples include Word, Excel, Outlook, etc.
• Organizational skills with an inquisitive mindset.
• Simple math skills. Ability to calculate simple figures such as percentages, discounts, and markups.
• Certificate of Fitness is preferred but not essential (F-01, S-12, S-13, A-35, P-98, and S-95)

*Should any element of this Job Description conflict with the provisions of an applicable collective bargaining agreement, the terms and conditions of the collective bargaining agreement will prevail. The pay range for this position is subject to an applicable Collective Bargaining Agreement. The negotiated rate for the Union Maintenance Helper position is $28.89 hourly -$41.27 hourly. Please refer to the Collective Bargaining Agreement regarding pay scale.
