Dishwasher - Utility Worker Part Time

We are currently seeking dishwashers to join our team! Flexible hours and days are available; just ask and we are happy to discuss with you! After school, around other sport or extra curricular activities and/or responsibilities are possible: days, afternoons, evenings. Responsibilities:

• Following established procedures to ensure the sanitary maintenance of dish room and entire food service area.
• Responsible for set up, operation and cleaning of dish machine.
• Cleans and sanitizes dishware, pots and pans and equipment as directed.
• Sweeps and mops floors, removes trash from all food service areas.
• Conveys dishware and food items to and from main kitchen area.
• The closing dishwashers are responsible for the entire operation of the dish room after 7 p.m. They are responsible for the entire sanitation of the dish room at closing.
• Acts in the receiving and storage of goods; performs other duties as directed.
• Assumes responsibility for self-safety and that of immediate work environment.
• Attending annual in-service on body mechanics, right-to-know laws, and fire and safety
• Adheres to all community policies and procedures including uniform, break schedule and smoking.

Qualifications:

• Basic knowledge of cleaning methods and techniques, sanitizing agents and equipment.
• Basic knowledge of safety and sanitation rules and practices.
• Ability to operate dish machine and other equipment as directed.
• Ability to lift a minimum of 50lbs. and stand for the duration of a shift.
