A Medical Social Worker provides critical support to patients and their families, helping them navigate the complexities of healthcare systems and cope with medical diagnoses. This role involves assessing patient needs and maintaining thorough documentation to ensure comprehensive care coordination.
Responsibilities
- Conduct patient assessments to identify social, emotional, and environmental needs
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation of patient interactions and care plans
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Social Work or related field
