Senior Technical Content Writer - Job Description About the role This is an employment marketing role for someone who can make exceptional engineers want to work at Socure. Socure is building AI-native infrastructure for identity, fraud prevention, and trust, and we need your help getting that engineering story out to the places where great technical talent discovers ideas, follows builders, and finds its next challenge. You will work closely with engineers, technical leaders, recruiting, and marketing to turn APIs, machine learning models, identity graphs, and decisioning workflows into a compelling case for joining the team. Your work will show software engineers the problems they can solve here, the systems they can help build, and the ambition behind Socure's mission. Why this role matters The best engineers are not looking for generic employer branding. They are looking for hard technical problems, strong peers, meaningful architecture, and a mission worth their time. You will make those things visible - in the communities, publications, developer platforms, social channels, and other talent-rich spaces where engineers actually pay attention. What you will do Tell the engineering story

• Interview engineers and technical leaders, learn how the platform works, and turn real technical work into stories that make top engineers lean in.
• Write technical content - including engineering blogs, deep dives, architecture stories, technical whitepapers, and recruiting-facing website copy - that makes the work at Socure tangible.

Reach engineers where they are

• Own an employment-marketing content calendar built around the channels and communities where software engineers discover work, exchange ideas, and decide which companies deserve their attention.
• Adapt and distribute stories across developer platforms, technical publications, engineering communities, social channels, and other high-signal places where the best talent gathers.
• Partner with recruiting and employer brand to connect content to talent goals, strengthen candidate interest, and support hard-to-fill engineering hiring.

Make difficult technology compelling

• Translate APIs, machine learning models, identity graphs, decisioning workflows, and cloud-based architectures into accurate, engaging stories for technical audiences.
• Show why the problems matter, what makes Socure's approach distinctive, and what an engineer could help build next.

Build real subject matter depth

• Develop enough understanding of Socure's products and platform to write with authority, ask sharp questions, and earn the trust of technical experts.
• Stay current on AI, fraud, identity, security, and infrastructure trends, and turn them into timely points of view that attract the right people.

How you will work Collaborate across the company

• Work with engineering, recruiting, employer brand, product marketing, and technical subject matter experts to find the strongest stories and get them ready for the right audiences.
• Partner with design, social, and distribution teams to package and place content for reach, credibility, and candidate action.
• Build a repeatable feedback loop with engineers so the content stays technically honest and genuinely representative of the work.

Raise the bar

• Protect a high editorial standard for clarity, accuracy, voice, and consistency across every channel.
• Edit and proofread content from other contributors, and help maintain Socure's content style guide.

Use AI thoughtfully - Use AI tools such as ChatGPT's Deep Research to accelerate research, drafting, and technical enablement while keeping human judgment, verification, and editorial quality at the center. What you bring

• Demonstrable experience in content writing, technical writing, employer brand, recruiting marketing, or content marketing, ideally in identity verification, fraud, cybersecurity, fintech, infrastructure, or another technical B2B SaaS environment.
• Strong technical curiosity and the ability to learn and write accurately about APIs, machine learning, and cloud-based architectures.
• Exceptional writing and storytelling skills, with a talent for making complex technical work clear, credible, and exciting to software engineers.
• A portfolio of published technical, engineering, employer-brand, or recruiting content, such as blogs, deep dives, whitepapers, case studies, or similar work.
• Experience partnering cross-functionally with engineering, recruiting, employer brand, product marketing, and subject matter experts.
• Strong editorial and distribution instincts, with comfort owning a content calendar, finding the right audience and channel, giving and receiving feedback, and maintaining a consistent voice.
• Experience using AI tools for research, drafting, and content production is a plus.
