About the Role

The Company is in search of a Vice President, Finance to play a pivotal role in shaping its financial direction, capital structure, and operational performance. The successful candidate will be a strategic partner to executive leadership, leading long-range financial planning, forecasting, and P&L management. This hands-on role requires a leader with a deep understanding of financial modeling, capital markets, and strategic planning, particularly within the specialty chemicals or industrial manufacturing sectors. Key responsibilities include developing and maintaining financial models, leading budgeting and forecasting processes, and managing critical banking and lender relationships. The VP, Finance will also be involved in evaluating strategic trade-offs, optimizing financial performance, and supporting growth initiatives, including M&A and capital markets activities. Candidates for the VP, Finance position at the company should have a Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field, with an MBA, CFA, or CPA preferred. A minimum of 10 years' experience in strategic finance, corporate finance, FP&A, or investment banking is required, with a strong preference for those with a background in chemical manufacturing or a fast-paced, growth-oriented industry. The role demands a leader with advanced financial and analytical skills, a hands-on approach, and the ability to drive operational excellence. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in financial operations management, leadership, and team development, and be adept at stakeholder engagement.
