Electrician

Job Description Growing commercial/ industrial electrical contracting company seeking a full-time electrical journeyman! The Journeyman is primarily responsible for installing the electrical scope for the given project. He/ She must be hands on, a self starter, takes pride in their work and a positive/ optimistic person. Qualifications Minimum two (2) years of experience in the installation, maintenance, and repair of electrical systems, equipment and fixtures using blueprints, schematics and sketches. Pass a background check, including drug test. Ability to successfully install, maintain, and repair electrical wiring, equipment, and fixtures. Knowledge using hand tools, small power tools, shop machines, and heavy equipment. Knowledge with construction documents, blueprints, building plans, and installation manuals to determine materials requirements and installations procedures. Knowledge installing and mounting electronic controls, device panels, sensors, and components. Has a basic understanding of the latest edition of the NEC. Responsibilities Perform work as directed by the foreman/ direct supervisor Install different type of electrical systems and components in various commercial and industrial facilities.
