Registered Nurse - Operating Room

Job Summary:
Provide specialized perioperative nursing care in the operating room, assisting in orthopedic, spine, robotics, and general surgeries. Ensure patient safety and comfort throughout surgical procedures while adhering to best practices and hospital protocols.

Responsibilities:

• Circulate during surgical procedures in orthopedic, spine, robotics, and general surgery departments.
• Prepare the operating room by ensuring all necessary equipment and supplies are available and sterile.
• Collaborate with surgical teams to maintain patient safety and adhere to surgical protocols.
• Document patient care activities accurately in electronic health records, including Epic.
• Manage and address patient needs before, during, and after surgeries to ensure optimal outcomes.
• Complete onboarding modules and required training onsite during orientation within specified timelines.

Qualifications:

• Possess at least 1 year of recent circulating RN experience in an OR setting.
• Hold a current state or compact license prior to submission.
• Demonstrate proficiency in Epic charting systems and surgical procedures.
• Exhibit ability to work in a fast-paced environment with attention to detail.
• Be willing to complete necessary onboarding and compliance requirements promptly.
• Be within 50 miles of the facility, as local candidates are not accepted.
