New Business Technology Lead

Tag's Americas technology team is small by design: a new business front door, a solutions design capability, a build function, and a rollout function, working AI-natively across the region's creative production and channel activation businesses. You are the front of house for technology. When an RFP lands or an account wants to see what our platforms can do, you are the person who reads the requirement, shapes the story, builds the response, and stands up in front of the client to demonstrate the technology. The vast majority of our new business carries a substantial technology component - architecture overviews, infrastructure documentation, certifications, and live demonstration - and you own making that response land as a designed answer, not boilerplate. On larger and more complex pursuits you work hand in hand with the Solutions Designer, who owns the deeper architecture; you own the response, the narrative, and the room. What you will own RFP responses end-to-end: interpreting client requirements, shaping the technology narrative, writing and assembling the response (technology sections, infrastructure documentation, certifications, architecture overviews), and hitting the deadlines Technology demonstrations: delivering live, credible demos of Tag's platforms and products to clients and prospects, drawing on and helping maintain the standing demo library Technology decks and pursuit materials: building client-facing presentations that make complex capability legible to non-technical buyers Demoing tools and platforms to existing customers: upsell and education conversations across the account base, drumming up qualified demand Partnership with the Solutions Designer on larger RFPs and client BAU opportunities: you bring the client context, requirements, and narrative; they bring the deeper architecture - the pursuit is co-owned, not handed off Qualification: applying an agreed standard for which opportunities warrant deep investment versus a templated response What success looks like Within twelve months the channel activation RFP flow is fully covered at a sustainable pace, technology responses ship on time with a consistent standard of craft, demonstrations come from a maintained library rather than being assembled fresh each pursuit, and account teams across the region actively pull you into opportunities because technology visibly helps them win. What we are looking for Pre-sales, sales engineering, or new business background in content production, channel activation, retail media, marketing technology, or an adjacent domain Excellent presenter and demonstrator: credible in front of senior client stakeholders, calm running a live demo under pressure Strong written and visual craft: RFP responses and decks that read as designed answers — this role writes and presents for a living Technically fluent without needing to be an engineer: understands architectures well enough to explain them honestly, knows when to bring in the Solutions Designer, and never over-promises what the build team cannot deliver AI-native working habits: uses modern AI tooling to draft, assemble, and iterate response materials at pace Able to run several concurrent pursuits with honest prioritization and a visible pipeline Working model You do not own solution architecture (Solutions Designer), net-new build (Forward Deployed Engineering), or post-win rollout (Customer Success). On major pursuits the Solutions Designer joins you in the room for technical sections and demo Q&A.
