Must-Have: Completion of an accredited Surgical Tech education program

Description:
Seeking a CVOR Surgical Tech with experience in the Operating Room.
The facility has 13 Operating Rooms and performs an average of 45 cases per day.
Will accept first-time travelers.

Common Patient Types and Diagnoses:
Orthopedic cases including total hip, knee, and shoulder arthroplasties, fractures.
Spine cases such as cervical and lumbar fusions, microdiscectomies.
General surgeries including lap chole, appy, and colon resections.
Breast surgeries including lumpectomies and mastectomies.
Urology cases such as prostate biopsies and TURP.
CVOR cases including CABG, AVR, and vascular surgeries.
Thoracic cases, including VATS and robotic resections.

Required skills include scrubbing in various cases across specialties.
Strong and recent experience with cardiovascular and thoracic cases is essential.
Support within the department includes OR assistants and nursing staff.
Technology used includes EMR systems, IV pumps, and medical dispensing systems.

This position offers an opportunity to work in a dynamic environment with a team-oriented approach.
