(USA) Member Specialist

Compensation $19.00 - $27.00/hr* *The actual hourly rate will equal or exceed the required minimum wage applicable to the job location. What You'll Do Provides member service, maintains the checkout area, and resolves member issues and concerns. Promotes Sam’s Club products and services, and provides guidance and support to members regarding self‑service technology. Processes member purchases and assists with payments, returns, refunds, and exchanges according to company policies and procedures for different membership and payment types. Follows company safety standards, procedures, and guidelines, including conducting safety sweeps. Follows proper procedures for handling merchandise and corrects and reports unsafe situations to facility management. Maintains entrance and exit areas, verifies membership cards, identifies member needs, assists with purchasing decisions, locates merchandise, and promotes the company's products and services. Ensures a safe shopping environment, secures and safeguards Sam’s Club assets by observing and communicating potential criminal activity, maintains paperwork, logs, and other required documentation, and executes emergency response procedures. Assists with the training of Member Frontline Services associates on company processes and procedures, teaching new technology and tool functionality, delivering new programs rollout training, and providing continuous learning and process improvement opportunities. Maintains the area of responsibility in accordance with company policies by handling returns, zoning the area, arranging and organizing merchandise, and identifying shrink and damages. Complies with company policies, procedures, and ethics standards, including implementing action plans and using the Open Door Policy. Completes work assignments and priorities using policies, data, and resources; collaborates with managers and co‑workers; identifies priorities, deadlines, and expectations; communicates progress; recommends ways to address improvement opportunities; and adapts to change. Supports a culture of teamwork, belonging, integrity, and continuous improvement, mentoring others and communicating with impact and positivity.
