Accounts Payable Analyst I

Kootenai Health is seeking an Accounts Payable Analyst I, to join our team! This is a fast-paced position that requires knowledge of Excel, debits and credits, and invoicing. As the Accounts Payable Analyst I, you will bringprevious accounts payable experience,be a proactive go-getter, motivated, a team player, and thrives in a dynamic environment. You are able to work independently, learn quickly, and possess strong attention to detail. Additionally, your knowledge of W-9 forms and 1099 experience is highly preferred. Familiarity with technology, including Infor, Excel, Outlook, and the Office Suite, is a plus. This role involves processing and supporting the timely issuance of payments, maintaining all related accounts payable records, and submitting required financial, audit, and regulatory reports. This is a Monday - Friday 8:00am - 4:30pm Onsite, non-exempt position.Pay starts at $23.19 - $33.04/hrdepending on relevant experience. What you will do! Facilitates all accounts payable processes and systems Assists and works closely with all accounts payable team members Analyzes invoice and expense reports for accuracy and eligibility of payment in accordance with approved policies and procedures Ensures payments and the overall disbursement process are in compliance with internal rules and policies, as well as external laws and regulations Provides support for accounts payable initiatives and process improvements Manages timely communications with organizational and external stakeholders Works closely with finance and accounting staff to validate proper recording of transactions and complete financial reporting What you will bring: Associate’s degree with accounting major or equivalent accounting courses preferred Minimum 1 year accounting/bookkeeping experience required Proficient in computer software applications (i.e. Microsoft Word and Excel) required Working Conditions: Must be able to reach arms above or below shoulder height Must be able to maintain a sitting position Typical equipment used in an office job Repetitive movements About Kootenai Health: Kootenai Health is a highly esteemed healthcare organization serving patients throughout northern Idaho and the Inland Northwest.
