Established financial services team in the Melville area is looking for a full-time executive assistant to support their busy and growing practice.
The ideal candidate will exhibit high standards, excellent communication skills, and have an ability to take initiative, and prioritize daily tasks. A strong ability to take charge and meet tight deadlines will ensure your success in this multi-faceted role. This role is on-site.
Responsibilities:
- New business processing
- Ability to complete highly detailed, complex paperwork
- Extensive use of multiple proprietary computer systems
- Client Management by building relationships with clients
- Client correspondence
- Document management
- Schedule and confirm meetings
- Ensure file organization based on office protocol
- Provide ad hoc support around the office, as needed
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree required
- Strong interpersonal, customer service and communication skills (verbal and written)
- Ability to multitask - exceptional time management skills
- Computer savvy and typing efficiency
- Problem solving skills (take initiative to solve issues)
- Highly organized
- Independent worker who excels in an environment of minimum supervision meeting demanding objectives
- Ability to understand the basic workings of financial product and services
