This position is responsible for providing strategic direction and end-to-end oversight of sponsored project activities for an assigned portfolio in the School of Public Health. The manager leads the full grant lifecycle — from opportunity identification and proposal development through post-award management, financial oversight, and award closeout, ensuring compliance with external regulations and internal policies at every stage. implementing grant policy and processes in the college, and collaborating with research faculty and staff in the development of those policies. The position duties include: college policy and procedure development, proposal development, assessment, management, and monitoring for proposal compliance to secure research funding. The incumbent oversees and coordinates daily operations and ensures compliance with external regulations and internal policies. Processing non-competing continuations, supplements, and subcontract documents for Sponsored Projects submission. The position researches and recruits potential funding opportunities from federal, state, and private sponsors for faculty consideration, along with recommending and implementing long-range strategies, plans and projects in collaboration with internal and external stakeholders. As a subject matter resource in research administration, the position contributes to the development and implementation of grant-related policies, procedures, and tools, and provides guidance and training to faculty and staff to enhance research administration capacity across SPH.Required QualificationsBachelor’s Degree and three years of related work experience or a Master’s Degree and two years of related work experience.
