Key Responsibilities Provide individual, group, and family therapy sessions targeting various mental health conditions, using a warm and empathetic approach. Conduct thorough psychosocial assessments and create tailored treatment plans that meet the diverse needs of your patients. Apply evidence-based therapeutic techniques such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), and trauma-informed care to facilitate effective treatment. Offer crisis intervention services, perform risk assessments, and develop safety plans to support clients in acute situations. Maintain meticulous and confidential clinical records in compliance with HIPAA and Washington state regulations, ensuring accurate documentation of all patient interactions. Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team, including psychiatrists, counselors, and healthcare providers, to create an integrated care experience for each patient. Advocate for clients by linking them to community resources and support services that enhance their treatment outcomes. Participate in regular case reviews, staff meetings, and professional development activities aimed at continuing education in your field. Patient Population / Client Focus This role focuses on serving children, adolescents, and young adults facing mental health challenges that significantly impact their social interactions, academic performance, and personal growth. You will engage with a diverse group of clients who may be dealing with anxiety, depression, trauma, and other emotional disturbances, providing them with the necessary support to thrive. Qualifications A Master’s degree in Social Work (MSW) is strongly preferred for this position. An active Washington State Licensed Independent Clinical Social Worker (LICSW) license is required to practice. At least two years of clinical experience in a related field, with a demonstrated understanding of evidence-based practices. Thorough knowledge of clinical terminology and methods required for effective patient care. Strong organizational skills and detail-oriented work ethic to ensure accurate documentation. Excellent time management abilities to handle client schedules and deliver timely documentation. Proficiency in using computers and various software systems is essential for efficient operation. Preferred Experience Prior experience as a Medical Social Worker or in a similar role is highly desirable. Experience with remote therapy delivery and telehealth systems. Compensation and Benefits The base salary for this role ranges between $80,000 and $90,000 annually, and performance-based incentives are available.
