716 Details is a growing automotive appearance and protection shop in Buffalo, NY. We are looking for a dependable and detail-oriented Automotive Detailer to join our team.

This position is focused on professional interior and exterior detailing. We're looking for someone who takes pride in their work, respects customer vehicles, and can consistently produce clean, professional results.

Previous professional detailing experience is preferred; however, we're willing to consider motivated candidates with strong automotive cleaning experience and the ability to learn our processes.

Responsibilities:

• Complete interior and exterior vehicle details
• Thoroughly vacuum carpets, seats, trunks and cargo areas
• Clean and detail dashboards, consoles, door panels and interior surfaces
• Perform steam cleaning and heated extraction when necessary
• Shampoo and extract carpets and upholstery
• Remove stains, dirt, pet hair and other contamination
• Clean and condition leather and interior surfaces
• Clean interior and exterior glass
• Properly wash and dry customer vehicles
• Clean wheels, tires and wheel wells
• Perform chemical decontamination when required
• Apply basic exterior protection products and tire dressings
• Use pressure washers, vacuums, extractors, steamers and professional detailing chemicals
• Inspect completed vehicles for quality before delivery
• Maintain a clean and organized detailing area
• Properly maintain shop equipment and supplies

Qualifications:

• Professional automotive detailing experience preferred
• Strong attention to detail
• Ability to work efficiently while maintaining quality
• Comfortable using professional detailing chemicals and equipment
• Ability to follow established detailing procedures and checklists
• Ability to work independently once trained on our processes
• Dependable and punctual
• Reliable transportation
• Professional attitude and willingness to learn
• Ability to safely work around customer vehicles and automotive equipment

Compensation: $18–$23/hour depending on experience, efficiency and demonstrated ability.

Experienced applicants are encouraged to provide photos, videos or examples of previous detailing work.

Qualified candidates may be asked to complete a paid hands-on skills evaluation before a final employment offer is made.
