Bilingual Licensed Therapist (Associate) Department: allcove / Clinical Services Reports To: Clinical Director FLSA Status: Non-Exempt (Hourly) Work Schedule: Tuesday–Friday, 12pm - 7pm; Saturdays 8am- 4pm Pay Range: $26.50 – $29.00 per hour Work Location: Multiple Wellness & Prevention Center clinical and community sites (including schools and medical offices) Position Summary Reporting to the Clinical Director, the Bilingual Licensed Therapist (Associate) provides culturally responsive, trauma-informed mental health services to youth, young adults, and families served by the Wellness & Prevention Center ("WPC"). This role operates under appropriate clinical supervision in accordance with the California Board of Behavioral Science (BBS) and applicable state and federal regulations. The position supports WPC’s mission of helping youth and families lead healthy lives by delivering direct clinical services, maintaining compliant documentation, participating in interdisciplinary collaboration, and supporting community-based outreach and prevention efforts. Essential Duties and Responsibilities Essential functions may include, but are not limited to, the following: Provide individual, family, and group psychotherapy services under licensed clinical supervision in compliance with BBS , HIPAA , and applicable funding and contract requirements. Maintain accurate, timely, and compliant clinical documentation and data tracking in accordance with grant, county, state, and contracted healthcare partner requirements. Collaborate with the Clinical Director and Prevention Director to support community-based education, school-based programming, outreach initiatives, and culturally responsive engagement efforts. Participate in required clinical supervision, professional development, trainings, staff meetings, and team-building activities. Contribute clinical insight, collaboration, and support to multidisciplinary teams, including clinicians, interns, and graduate students. Demonstrate reliability and punctuality, including consistent attendance and timely arrival at assigned worksites. Follow organizational policies, procedures, safety protocols, and ethical standards. Accept and apply constructive feedback to enhance professional growth and service quality. Perform additional duties as assigned by the Clinical Director, Executive Director, or designee consistent with the scope of the position. Required Education, Licensure, and Experience Master’s degree or higher in a behavioral health discipline (e.g., Marriage and Family Therapy, Social Work, Professional Clinical Counseling, or related field). Current and active Associate registration with the California Board of Behavioral Sciences (BBS) , maintained in good standing throughout employment. Bilingual proficiency in English and Spanish , with the ability to provide clinical services in both languages. Excellent interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills. Demonstrated cultural humility and ability to work effectively with individuals from diverse backgrounds. Ability to maintain confidentiality and comply with HIPAA , ethical standards, and applicable state and federal law. Proficiency in Google Workspace and electronic documentation systems. Ability to work independently and collaboratively within interdisciplinary teams. Strong problem-solving, analytical, and judgment skills. Working Conditions Position may require work outside normal business hours, including evenings and weekends, to support program activities, events, or trainings. As a non-exempt position, all hours worked must be accurately recorded. Flexible scheduling within the same workweek may be provided in accordance with California wage and hour laws. Physical Demands The physical demands described below are representative of those required to perform the essential functions of the job. Noise level is typically moderate.
