Orthodontic Treatment Coordinator Deerwood Orthodontics, a thriving single‑doctor practice in Franklin, Wisconsin, is looking for an Orthodontic Treatment Coordinator to join our team. More about the role Manage new patient exams with our doctor, explain treatment details, and discuss financial arrangement options Partner with the AR department regarding insurance verification in preparation for exams, pre‑authorizations, and payment options Meet with patients for case presentations to finalize paperwork and financial arrangements Utilize Ortho2 Edge for patient scheduling and records Coordinate patient care with internal and external providers to ensure a smooth transition into treatment Partner with the providers and team to implement Heartland Dental systems and optimize office potential Preferred Experience Orthodontic experience is preferred Dental office experience will be considered Experience with Ortho2 Edge is a plus Strong communication, organization, and patient service skills Compensation $20.00 – $22.00/hour, with flexibility to consider more for the right candidate. Minimum Qualifications Experience working in a fast‑paced and customer‑centric environment Excellent communication and organizational skills The position will have access to minimum PHI necessary for performing job‑related functions; regular HIPAA training, aligning with the specific role and responsibilities, will be required; and the individual will need to protect PHI and maintain data safeguards. Preferred Experience (additional) 1+ years of experience in a dental or medical setting 1+ years of experience with insurance billing and accounts receivable Dentrix or other dental software experience Physical Requirements Ability to perform essential duties satisfactorily with or without reasonable accommodation. This is a standard requirement for dental office roles and must be completed prior to starting employment.
