Seeking an Experienced Construction Laborer to join our team. This role is crucial for supporting all phases of construction projects from start to finish. The ideal candidate will have a strong work ethic, attention to safety, be reliable and have the ability to perform physically demanding tasks in a fast-paced environment. You'll be a hands-on leader, performing high-quality labor work while being proactive at coordinating others' activities to keep our projects moving forward and on track. Prior construction experience is required, preferably in all phases of construction.
RESPONSIBILITIES
• Load, unload, and organize materials and tools needed for jobsite and daily tasks
• Perform basic construction such as framing, drywall installation and finish carpentry of all variety
• Operate hand and power tools safely and effectively
• Follow all safety protocols and maintain a clean work environment
• Support team members with various duties to ensure project deadlines are met
• Assist with equipment setup and breakdown at job sites
• Adhere to project specifications and quality standards throughout all phases of construction
QUALIFICATIONS
• 5+ years of experience in construction remodeling, managing projects and workers is a plus
• Must be very reliable with the ability to adapt quickly to multiple projects
• Reliable transportation is required
• Knowledge of construction tools and equipment operation
• Ability to perform physically demanding tasks in both indoor and outdoor construction environments for most of the day
• Strong attention to safety procedures and protocols
• Good communication skills and reliability
• Ability to follow and give instructions accurately and work well within a team
• Strong attention to detail
• Ability to be proactive with excellent time management skills
• Prior experience in carpentry is mandatory
• Ability to provide your own tools preferred but not required
• Experience managing subcontractors is a plus but not required
• Ability to work in Southwest WA and the Portland, OR metro area
Pay range is experience based
