Title: Registered Nurse (RN) – Med/Surg Tele

Location: Rochester, NY

Duration: Contract Assignment (14 Weeks)

"Navitas Healthcare, LLC" is seeking an experienced Registered Nurse to work in a Med/Surg Tele overflow unit supporting ED boarder patients. This is a flexible inpatient unit with fluctuating patient volume depending on hospital demand.

• Provide direct patient care in Med/Surg Tele overflow setting
• Monitor cardiac rhythms and manage dysrhythmias
• Perform IV insertion and phlebotomy (mandatory competency)
• Provide oxygen therapy and non-invasive airway support
• Manage peripheral IV lines and related care
• Respond to rapid response and code situations
• Maintain isolation precautions and infection control standards
• Assist with patient flow in a high-acuity environment
• Document care accurately in EPIC system
• Float to similar units as required
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare teams

• Active RN license (New York or eligible)
• Minimum 1 year Med/Surg Tele acute care experience
• Competency in IV placement and phlebotomy required
• BLS certification required
• Experience with cardiac rhythm interpretation required
• EPIC EMR experience required
• Strong critical thinking and communication skills
• Ability to work in fast-paced hospital environment
