DENTAL HYGIENIST – NEW GRADUATE Location: Dental Care on 73107 S 7 Hwy, Blue Springs, MO 64014. Schedule: Monday 8:30‑6.00, Tuesday 7:30‑5.00, Wednesday 7:30‑5.00, Thursday 6:30‑3.00, Friday 8:30‑1.00 (two Fridays per month). As a Dental Hygienist at Dental Care on 7, you will provide outstanding patient care, work closely with patients to deliver educational and preventive services, and be the integral member of the patient‑care team. You will support patients with full clinical autonomy, participate in our hygiene mentor program, and take advantage of ongoing professional development to enhance your clinical skills. Minimum Qualifications Current dental hygienist license in Missouri. Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in dental hygiene (as required). Excellent working knowledge of dentistry, dental hygiene procedures, patient screening, and medical history documentation. CPR certification. Preferred Experience Experienced hygienists and new graduates. Experience using Velscope, Diagnodent, digital scanner, digital x-rays, and electronic medical record systems. Desire to continue learning and growing clinical skills to meet patient needs and provide preventive care and overall maintenance of dental health. Physical Requirements Ability to perform essential duties as required by the office, doctor, or Heartland Dental, with or without reasonable accommodation. Prolonged periods of sitting and standing. Ability to lift and carry up to 45 pounds at times. Availability to attend virtual training sessions (or in‑person) periodically throughout the year.
