Starting Pay

$18.65 – $20.65 per hour

Graduated by credential: PCA → HHA → Med Tech

Overnight premium pay + benefits + paid time off

Briarwood Manor has been part of the Lockport community for decades. We're a 160-bed assisted living community on Lincoln Avenue serving older adults across general assisted living, an Assisted Living Program, and a dedicated 20-unit Memory Care. Our team supports residents and their families through thoughtful, individualized care — and we take care of our team in return.

About This Role

Our assisted living residents are independent older adults who need a little extra support — help with daily activities, medication management, and the comfort of knowing someone is always nearby. You'll be part of a consistent care team that knows our residents well. We're hiring caregivers at all credential levels — PCA, HHA, and Med Tech — for full-time, part-time, and per-diem positions across day, evening, and overnight shifts.

What You'll Do

• Help residents with daily activities — bathing, dressing, grooming, meals, ambulation, and personal care

• Conduct rounds and check in with assigned residents throughout your shift

• Build real relationships with each resident — learn their preferences, their routines, what matters to them

• Document care and observations in our electronic care record

• Support resident participation in activities, meals, and social programs

• Respond calmly and confidently to safety needs and report changes in resident condition to your team lead

• If certified as a Med Tech: administer scheduled and PRN medications per resident orders and document accurately

What We're Looking For

• You're at least 18 years old and able to legally work in New York

• You have or can obtain an active PCA, HHA, or Med Tech credential on the New York State Home Care Worker Registry

• You're patient, kind, and reliable — and you treat older adults with the respect they deserve

• You can communicate clearly in English (additional languages are a plus)

• You can lift, transfer, and assist residents safely with proper training

• You're able to clear a Justice Center / State Central Registry background check and complete a pre-employment physical and TB screening

• Prior caregiving experience is a plus but not required

Schedule

Full-time, part-time, and per-diem positions available across all three shifts:

• Day: 6:00 AM – 2:00 PM

• Evening: 2:00 PM – 10:00 PM

• Overnight: 10:00 PM – 6:00 AM (with premium pay)

Rotating weekends and holidays. Flexible scheduling within posted shifts wherever possible.
