Job Description

• Perform thorough patient evaluations, encompassing detailed physical examinations and in-depth reviews of their medical histories
• Assist in the assessment and diagnosis of surgical issues by interpreting imaging and laboratory results
• Work hand-in-hand with surgeons to formulate and implement tailored surgical treatment strategies
• Provide invaluable intraoperative assistance, which includes preparing the operating room and ensuring proper patient positioning, while efficiently managing surgical instruments
• Offer outstanding pre- and post-operative care, including medication management, wound care, discharge planning, and patient education

Education

• Master's degree from an accredited Physician Assistant program
• Clinical rotations with a specialty in surgery are preferred

Certifications

• Current and unrestricted PA-C certification
• Certification in BLS and ACLS is required
• State licensure (or eligibility) as a Physician Assistant
