Where You Will Work: Aurora Medical Center Grafton Women’s Health unit provides compassionate, family-centered care for women and newborns across the childbirth experience. Our women’s health unit has 18 LDRP rooms, 1 labor triage room, 2 C-section suites, and an outpatient lactation room. Our women’s health unit supports patients through labor, delivery, postpartum recovery, and newborn care, with a strong focus on safety, comfort, and individualized support in a community focused environment. We’re Looking For: Completion of an accredited or approved program in nursing Registered Nurse license issued by the state in which the teammate practices One year or greater of RN experience, women’s health experience preferred Basic Life Support (BLS) for Healthcare Providers certification issued by the American Heart Association Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) certification required within 6 months of hire. What You’ll Do: As a skilled and compassionate RN, you will play a pivotal role in providing and coordinating comprehensive patient care through the nursing process to deliver safe, therapeutic care in accordance with established standards, policies, and procedures. Using evidence-based practice, clinical decision making, compassion, and skills communication while leading efforts to create the safest patient environment and the best patient experience across the continuum.
