Join a collaborative women’s health team supporting Labor & Delivery, postpartum care, emergency GYN consultations, and surgical services. This short-term contract offers diverse clinical experiences, schedule flexibility, and the opportunity to expand your skills in a fast-paced hospital environment.

Job Responsibilities

• Provide inpatient OB/GYN coverage including Labor & Delivery, postpartum, and maternity floor management.
• Assist with C-sections and emergent GYN surgical procedures as a First Assist.
• Manage inpatient and Emergency Room GYN consultations.
• Perform post-operative GYN rounding and patient management.
• Support OB triage and clinical care alongside OB physicians and advanced practice providers.

Qualifications

• Active Massachusetts Physician Assistant license required for PA candidates.
• PA-C certification required for Physician Assistants.
• NP candidates must be certified to First Assist in the operating room.
• Midwives accepted if they are NP + First Assist certified.
• Surgical First Assist experience required.
• C-section First Assist and emergent GYN surgery First Assist experience required for PA candidates.
• Fetal heart rate interpretation experience required.

Working Hours

• Assignment Duration: 3 months
• Start Date: As soon as credentialed.
• Full-time schedule: 3 shifts per week
• Night and weekend shifts: 7:00 PM – 7:00 AM
• Call requirement: 3 shifts per week
• Credentialing timeframe: 30–60 days (expedited available)
