Bookkeeper (Remote)

A growing, privately held company with ~$12M in annual revenue and 30 employees is seeking a reliable Bookkeeper to support ongoing financial operations.

This is a solo accounting role responsible for full-cycle bookkeeping using Workamajig, reporting directly to the owner.

This position is available immediately as part of a planned retirement transition with standard hours of 9:00 AM to 5:30 PM.

This is a 99.9% remote role with occasional quarterly in-person meetings for team collaboration.

The company is looking to ensure a smooth transition and maintain accurate financial management as the current Bookkeeper retires.

The Bookkeeper will manage all day-to-day accounting functions, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and timely financial reporting for a stable and growing organization.

Handle full-cycle bookkeeping including AP/AR, reconciliations, and general ledger maintenance

Manage financial data within Workamajig and ensure system accuracy

Prepare routine financial reports and support budgeting processes

Maintain organized and compliant financial records

Collaborate directly with the owner on financial insights and reporting

Proven experience in a standalone bookkeeping or accounting role

Experience with Workamajig or similar project-based accounting software preferred

Strong attention to detail and organizational skills

Ability to work independently in a remote environment

Excellent communication and reliability
